About Colby
I’m glad you chose to read Lead His Way. I’m honored actually. Let me take this time to tell you a little bit about me, the one behind the keyboard.
My name is Colby Morris. I am blessed to married to Mandie, the love of my life. We have three kiddos; a daughter and two sons. You’ll probably read a lot about them here, as they tend to be my inspiration fairly often. We live in the Houston area, and I currently work in the Texas Medical Center. My wife and I are both from the Houston area, and other than moving for my career, we have always been here.
We have made stops in Tennessee and Missouri, but have most incredible memories of Tennessee. We continue to have great, great friends there and miss them greatly. We have been back in Texas for about 5 years after our 2-year haitus. My company moved me around quite a bit. We actuall moved every 9 months for 5 years. No, it wasn’t military, it was contract work.
You’ll notice that my posts end with a verse of scripture from the Bible. Yes, I am a follower of Jesus. If you are not, let me say this: You’ll find that what I post is meant to be for everyone, not just Christians. You can disagree with me there, but obviously my point of view will be skewed toward my belief. However, I still believe that you’ll find what I write can be used for direction and advice for pretty much anyone.
What I want to do and what I am hoping is to influence guys everywhere who, like me, struggled or are struggling with what it means to be a man.
